Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, Apple Pages, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The manuscript is written in Times New Roman 12 pt font with 1.5 line-spacing, with a 2.5 cm margin on all sides. The manuscript is numbered on all pages, starting with the title page.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors of the Israel Journal of Entomology retain the copyright of their articles without restrictions. Authors grant the publisher of the Israel Journal of Entomology non-exclusive publishing rights to publish the articles both electronically and in print.
The materials in the Israel Journal of Entomology are published in Open Access and are licensed under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND License allowing for immediate free access to the articles and permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, with an acknowledgement of the workʼs authorship and initial publication in the Israel Journal of Entomology.
